I'm probably not getting this one. I recall playing both the Red and Blue versions of Pokémon in 1998 or 1999, but my interest never lived for so long that I would've actually finished the game.

Don't know what version I'd want to get if I got a 3DS.

The names for the legendaries have been revealed:

X version's mascot is Xerneas, and may be based on a Chital. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chital (pronounced ZURR-nee-us)

Y Version's mascot is Yveltal, and may be based on a Wyvern (pronounced ee-VELL-tall )
